Rava dosa
Ingredients :
Rava : 1 cup
Rice flour: 1 cup
Cumin seeds : 1 tsp
Sesame seeds : 2 tblsps
Ginger : 1 Inch piece (chopped)
Green coriander : 2 tblsp (chopped)
Curry leaves : 6 - 7 (chopped)
Green chili : 1 (chopped)
Pepper powder : 1/2 tsp
Chili flakes : 1 tsp
Salt : to taste
Water : around 3 cups.
Onion : 1 (chopped)
Oil : as required
Serving : 6 -7 dosas
Procedure:
Take a large bowl, put all the ingredients in it, except onions and give it a dry mix. Then add enough water to attain a buttermilk consistency.
Heat a pan, season it with oil and sprinkle some chopped onion all over it.
Then keep the flame high and stir the batter and pour a laddle full (or more, depending on the size of the laddle) of it to make a round dosa. Switch the flame to low and drizzle some oil over it.
Let it cook until it starts to get brown from the base, then transfer it into a plate.
Repeat the procedure for the remaining batter and make sure you stir the batter before you pour it on the hot pan, or else the rava will settle to the base.
