Drambuie liqueur DIY
Drambuie is a liqueur flavoured with fennel, cinnamon and orange. Ingredients : Whisky (blenders pride / chivas) : 750 ml Orange peels : of one navel orange Fennel seeds : 4 tblsp Cinnamon : 6 inch pieces Honey : 250 ml Procedure : Wash a navel orange and peel it with a peeler and put peels into a plate and keep them into the refrigerator uncovered to dry for 2 - 3 days, until they are dehydrated and turn crisp. Put the dried orange peels, fennel seeds and cinnamon into a one litre glass bottle and top it with the whisky. Allow the flavours to get infused for a week. After a week you may strain the whisky into a clean pot and separate the spices, then mix honey into the whisky and bottle it again. (I prefer to keep the spices throughout until the whisky is over and add honey and water or other options while serving. ) While serving add little water or serve it over some ice, or black coffee. 🙏 Thank...
