Poha or flattened rice in coconut milk
Poha or flattened rice can be eaten with sweetened - coconut milk or dairy milk or any other milk of your choice.
Ingredients:
Poha : 1 cup
Grated coconut : 1 cup
Jaggery : 3 tbls
Salt : to taste
Procedure :
Grind the coconut using about 1& 1/2 cup drinking water (as it won't be cooked further) to a fine paste.
Extract the milk twice or thrice and add jaggery, salt and cardamom powder and mix until the jaggery is well dissolved.
Clean the poha, wash it in slightly warm water. They should be soft before proceeding further.
Then add the coconut milk to it.
