Squids solantle

Ingredients :
Squids : 6 - 8 (medium or small)
Turmeric : 1/4 tsp
Vinegar : 1 tblsp 
Oil : 1 tblsp 
Onion : 1 (medium)
Garlic : 4 - 5 cloves 
Spicy dry red chili : 3 - 4
Kokum rinds : 4 - 5
Salt : to taste 

Procedure : 

Clean the squid thoroughly and cut them into 2 pieces or leave them whole. Then marinate them with salt, turmeric, vinegar, kokum rinds and dry red chilies; and keep aside. 

Heat oil in a pot or pan, add roughly chopped onions and sauté them till translucent, then add chopped garlic and give it a quick stir. 

Add in the marinated squids and cook them for 8 - 10 minutes or until they become opaque - while in colour.

Serve as a side dish with rice and curry.
