Lady fingers with kokum

Solantle bhende

Ingredients:

Lady fingers : 10 - 12
Oil : 1 tblsp
Cumin : 1/2 tsp
Garlic : 4 - 5 cloves
Onion : 1
Spicy dry red chilies : 1 - 2
Kokum : 5 - 6 rinds
Salt :  to taste
Sugar/ Stevia : to taste
Water : 1/2 cup

Procedure:

Wash the lady fingers and cut diagonally.
 
Heat a saucepan, put oil, cumin, crushed garlic, onion and sauté till the onions turn light brown in colour.

Add turmeric powder, lady fingers, kokum rinds, red chilies and water; give it a mix.

Cover and cook till lady fingers become soft. Add Salt and sugar/ stevia ; stir twice or thrice in between.
