Processed pineapple

Fruits can be processed and preserved for later use such as making cakes, fruit salads, ice creams, sheera etc. Or just eat as is.

Ingredients:
Pineapple : 1 (chopped 2 cups)
Sugar : 4 tblsp 
Cinnamon : 1 inch piece 
Clove : 4 nos.

Procedure:

Wash, peel and cut the pineapple either into slices or chop it fine or into chunks. Add sugar, cinnamon and cloves.

Cook it on a low flame until the pineapple becomes soft and translucent, this will take about 15 minutes. Store in a glass jar, keep refrigerated and use within a week or two.
