Jeera buns 

Ingredients:
Banana : 6 (small)
Jaggery : 1/2 cup 
Yogurt : 1 cup
Cumin : 1 tsp
Turmeric : 1/4 tsp
Baking soda : 3/4 tsp
Salt : 1 tsp
All purpose flour (maida) : around 6 cups + extra for dusting 

Procedure :

Mash the bananas, add grated jaggery, yogurt, crushed cumin, turmeric powder, baking soda, salt; and mix everything.

Then add flour and make a smooth dough. Cover it and let it rest overnight in a warm place. 

Next morning divide the dough into lemon size balls and roll them out into discs of about 4mm thickness. 

Heat oil in a deep frying pan, slip in the rolled buns and bathe it with hot oil on the upper side. Fry them on high flame for a minute until you flip them for the first time. Then switch the heat to low and fry until they turn golden.


Put them on a paper towel to get rid of the excess oil.

Serve with potato bhaji, patal bhaji, etc.
