Chicken Stew
Goan stew is prepared with a combination of beef and pork sausages, along with some vegetables and macaroni. Here I have made the chicken version.
Ingredients :
Chicken : 2 breasts
Red masala: 2 - 3 tblsp
Cooking:
Pasta : 200 gms
Onion : 1
Tomato : 1
Ginger garlic paste : 1 tsp
Potato: 1
Green peas : 1/2 cup
Carrot : 1
Tamarind : marble size ball (optional)
Stock cube : 1
Oil : 3 tblsp
Procedure:
Wash the meat, cut it into fine pieces, squeeze them to drain out the water and add salt.
Heat a pot, add two tablespoon oil, sauté onion, then add tomatoes, ginger garlic paste and mix well.
Add the chicken, cover it with a lid and cook it on a low flame.
When it is half done add potato cubes and green peas and cook until they are done.
Add carrot cubes just 7 -8 minutes before switching off and add the stock cube.
In another pot, boil water and cook the pasta, add salt and drain them.
Finally add the pasta to the prepared chicken.
