Moringa flowers bhaji

Ingredients : 
Moringa flowers : 2 cups
Oil : 1 tblsp 
Onion : 1 medium
Masoor dal (red lentil) : 4 tbls
Grated coconut : 4 - 5 tblsp 
Green coriander : Handful 
Salt : to taste 

Procedure :

Pluck the flowers from the tree along with the stems and wash them thoroughly while still on the stem. 

Then detach the flowers from the stem.

Roughly chop the flowers with a  knife or chopper.

Meanwhile wash dal and soak it in water.

Heat oil in a pot, add chopped onions and  sauté them until translucent. 

Then add chopped moringa flowers, soaked dal, turmeric powder, pepper powder,  half a cup water and mix it well. Keep covered and cook it till the dal is softened. Keep checking in between so that it doesn't get scorched. If you see it browning the base of the pot, add little more water to it.


When the dal gets cooked, add grated coconut, chopped coriander and salt. Mix it up and cook covered for another minute. Then switch off.
