Sardines in tomato sauce
Sardines stewed in tomato sauce are a good source of calcium Ingredients: Sardines (medium size) : 1 kg Tomatoes (medium size) : 4 Garlic : 4 cloves Pepper : 8 corns Vinegar : 2 laddles full Tomato ketchup : 2 tblsp Spicy dry red chilies : 4 - 5 Fresh coriander : handful Water : 1/2 cup Salt : to taste Olive oil : 1 laddle full Procedure : Clean the fish, apply salt and set aside. Cross score the tomatoes at the steam, insert a knife on the opposite side and set it over a live flame on the gas stove until the skin turns black and gets detached. Then peel off the skin, deseed the tomatoes and cut them into pieces. Put the tomatoes into a mixer jar add garlic and pepper corns and blend it into a paste.
